Last week was our annual Spring Golf Tournament, benefitting the Foundation for Children. It was held at the beautiful, yet very watery, Ocotillo Golf Resort. I think we will keep the amount of golf balls that ended up in the lakes out of the report. This year, we had 6 foursomes out on the course, so smaller group than last year, but we still managed to raise funds for kids!
Between golf registration, hole sponsorships and raffle tickets sold, the profit for the event to go towards the foundation was $2000. That’s roughly 26 pairs of new glasses for Arizona School Children!
We had numerous amounts of raffle prizes donated by Karen Ritz-Darby of Camino Del Sol, East Resthaven Park Mortuary & Cemetery, Greenwood Memory Lawn and Adair Funeral Chapels. Almost no one went home empty handed!

Dixon Golf once again sent out a representative to our tournament and held the Dixon Ball Challenge. Every one of our golfers participated int he challenge, meaning even more funds were raised for the Foundation. We appreciate Mike & Steve from Dixon Golf for coming out.
Cash prizes went home to the 1st and 2nd place team, as well as the winners of our three Challenge Holes.
