February 2018 Student Stories

Here are the students the AFCCA Foundation for Children was able to assist in February 2018!

Large Grant Requests

A nine-year-old boy from Roadrunner Elementary in Phoenix was in need for new hearing aids that cost $750. The parents were able to pay for $250 of the cost. The AFCCA Foundation for Children voted to pay for the remaining $500.

Small Grant Requests

  • Patagonia Union High School – Patagonia, AZ: Glasses request for a 15 yr old boy, referred to Nationwide. $130 to pay for an eye exam and glasses.

Thank you to all of our dedicated board members, donators, volunteers and especially our volunteer school nurse for making grant requests like the ones above possible

Working together through fundraisers and creating awareness, we can continue helping children in our communities.
